The first episode happened this afternoon when I was holding him, just had a little bit come up. Then when I got home from workout class I was holding him and he just let loose. Projectile vomit, all gross and clumpy and smelly... and all over me. I caught most of it with my hand, but the rest got all over me. Guess that's part of the job, eh?
He wasn't running a fever or anything, but he's had a rash on his face for a couple days now. I'm guessing it's a food allergy to something he's eating. Or just a little stomach bug. He took a quick nap and woke up and played a little, then sucked down a bottle, so I guess he's back to normal.
On that note, we had maidrites tonight for supper. = ) Extra lean ground beef, ketchup, spicy mustard, Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of brown sugar.

Yesterday and today were nothing special as far as meals go. We're trying to clear out our fridge because we have a ton of leftovers, so yesterday was another taco salad, then some pork and a leftover sweet potato. Sprinkled the sweet potato with cinnamon and it was like a dessert.
Today I had some pomegranate yogurt to start my day. Then it was off to the dentist for a checkup. No cavities, yay! This is going to sound quite pathetic, but I have been to the same dentist my entire life. Same one for 30 years. Until today... I finally went somewhere new. And it wasn't bad.
For lunch we had some chicken wraps, with some black beans, cheese, salsa and spinach.
I had some half-bags of chocolate and butterscotch chips, so I made some quick cookies today. Not the healthy kind, sorry.
COOKIES
1 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick butter (I used "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter)
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1/2 c peanut butter
1 c oatmeal
1/2 bag semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 bag butterscotch chips
Combine first four ingredients in bowl and set aside. Cream together the butter, sugars, vanilla, egg and peanut butter. Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in oatmeal and chips. Bake for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Easy peasy. Like the name of the recipe? Very descriptive.
Off to check on my kid and get some rest for our busy busy Friday!
